Singer Jade Jones’s dad collapsed while celebrating Christmas with family and friends in his native Jamaica. Jade and Emma, 33, a judge on ITV1’s Dancing On Ice, were “stunned” after learning of the shock death in a phone call to their home in Barnet, Herts. Jade, 31, a chef at Claridge’s who once fronted boybands Damage and Cherry BlackStone, is said to be “inconsolable”. A family friend said: “The family are devastated and still in mourning. Both Jade and Emma are shell-shocked. “Jade’s father was on holiday with his family when he suffered a heart attack on Christmas morning. “The family have asked for their privacy to be respected during this sensitive time.” Born in Stepney, East London, Jade has six sisters and four brothers.
